Bond Plumbing have recentely completed work on a bathroom renovation in Broadbeach, Gold Coast.

Our plumbers started the rough in by capping off water for the kitchen, mortared around water pipe works through concrete and capped off water and waste for toilet and vanity. We removed the old tap ware for the shower and bath and removed the old toilet.

A concrete scanner met us on-site to scan sections of concrete, which is going to be core holed through a concrete slab into storage room for vanity waste pipe. The water was then turned off so we could remove all old water pipes in main bathroom. Water pipe was adjusted to suit new toilet and then moved water points for hand basin to suit new location. Hot and cold water pipes were re-run for new shower and re-connected to mains to feed ensuite bathroom.  Shower mixer and water point for bath and shower rail were installed. Two fire collars were installed on underside of slab and the ceiling of the storage room. Waste pipes for bath were re-run for new location.

All pipes were clipped that are inside wall, painted bone creed on section of wall, which is being mortared up around pipework. Bathroom was then ready for new toilet, shower rose and bath tub to be installed, which customer had sourced. Fit off water and waste for toilet and installed new mixer for shower and bath.

Bond Plumbing then tested for leaks and cleaned up our work as we do on all jobs. The next part of the renovation will be the laundry and kitchen when customer is ready to proceed.
